OUR STORY
Our journey began with a small act of faith—and has grown into a mission of lasting impact.
Our MISSION
To extend compassion, hope, and practical support to Haitian communities through faith-driven service, local partnerships, and sustainable humanitarian initiatives.
Our Beginnings
Chavannes Charitable Foundation Inc. was founded in 2021 by Maryse Chavannes in honor of her mother and sister. What began as a small group of committed donors—known as Les Servantes de la Vierge Altagrace—was created to support local churches and provide meaningful, ground-level assistance to communities in Haiti. As support grew and the impact deepened, the organization took its next step forward by becoming a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since the beginning, our mission has remained the same: to serve Haitian communities with compassion, dignity, and accountability. Through the generosity of our supporters, we have raised over $100,000 to fund food assistance, shelter support, and faith-based community initiatives—and we continue this work with hope for the future.
Les Servantes de la Vierge Altagrace
Les Servantes de la Vierge Altagrace represents the foundation upon which Chavannes Charitable Foundation was built. This original group of dedicated supporters helped launch our earliest initiatives and continues to serve under the Chavannes Charitable Foundation umbrella today. We honor their commitment and faith, which played a vital role in shaping the mission we carry forward.
Our GOALS
As we grow, our commitment remains rooted in service, partnership, and faith. With the continued support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we look forward to expanding our reach and deepening our impact across Haiti—one community at a time.
